3 ways this therapists lead magnet stands out and creates new clients every month with quizpro and klaviyo

Lead magnets are a powerful way to build your brand and generate new leads by offering free value to prospects, in exchange for their contact information.

These can work where you have distinct deliverables or products to offer, but what about when you offer a service?

Offering a valuable lead magnet that distinguishes your services from the competition often presents new challenges, because the thing that sets you apart is your knowledge and ability to tailor your solutions to the client you’re working with, and it’s difficult to do this with a one-size-fits-all, generic offering.

Eric Sjoberg, a U.S. based therapist specializing in trauma and healing, wanted a lead magnet that captured new leads, whilst also assessing their goals, strengths, and weaknesses against his unique “Power, Love, Presence” framework.

After completing the assessment and opting in (via the klaviyo integration), leads would receive a personalized personality audit, with competency scores broken down across the three domains (Power, Love, Presence). It was essential to us this vision was preserved because that’s how you reap the true benefits of a lead assessment like this, by giving leads a taste of the value you can offer through your unique experiences and expertise, and the powerful lens you can offer to view their problems through.

Lead quiz assessments can often be the gateway into your sales funnel and the ecosystem of your brand, they fast track your leads from uninformed and unaware, into invested members of your community. The only way this works, however, is by giving your leads a taste of the value you can offer by breaking down their problems, demonstrating that you have the frameworks to analyze them effectively, and most importantly, the knowledge and wisdom to present solutions.

The challenge is that many tools are too restrictive to allow you to do this. They don’t allow you to immerse your prospects into your world because they force you to warp your vision to fit their restrictions. The result? A half baked lead magnet that holds you back, making you appear the same as the competition, instead of highlighting your uniqueness and launching you forward.

With no off the shelf options available, QuizPro was able to deliver a custom build that was true to the vision.

What we needed to achieve:

  • Opt in integration with Klaviyo.
  • User specific results reports using the Power, Love, Presence framework.
  • Analytics and tracking

Klaviyo Integration

At the time of build, QuizPro did not support integrations with Klaviyo, but in the interest of supporting our clients, an integration was built. This was no trouble, as QuizPro is designed to be flexible, and building the integration was a smooth process.

After completing the assessment, a custom report using the Power Love and Presence framework is generated. The report is stored against the created Klaviyo lead, and the lead is subscribed to the relevant newsletter list. There’s also an automated flow to email the results card over to the lead so they can come back and view their assessment - sending the results in an email rather than in the browser also ensures that the lead subscribes - use this tip to optimize your conversion rates.

Today, QuizPro integrations with Klaviyo are extremely simple to set up - just give us the name of your list, and we’ll take care of the rest. As a minimum, simple integrations will create the contact and subscribe them to a list, but did you know you can also create smart subscriptions and tags? By combining the power of a custom built QuizPro tagging algorithm, and Klaviyo, we can tag users based on the answers they gave, and place them into specific marketing lists or campaigns based on this data - this keeps your marketing efforts highly relevant to the lead’s interests, increasing your open rates, ultimately leading to higher conversion rates.

User specific reports

The results page for this project is inspired by a two dimensional scoring matrix, the user answers are graded across three domains - this is a unique scoring mechanism that comes entirely from the mind of our client, it’s not something an out of the box product would support.

We worked with our client and their design and copywriting team to produce a dynamically generated end of assessment report card that shows the lead what could be in store for THEM when they become a client. We immerse the lead into your world of to nudge them further down your sales and marketing funnel, all of a sudden they’ve gone from a passive consumer of your content, to someone who has engaged and received something tailored to them.

All QuizPro builds include a custom report card and results processing algorithm, to ensure you don’t miss the opportunity to show your leads just how much you can help them.

Analytics and Tracking

To measure the lead-generation performance of the quiz funnel, it can be useful to track metrics such as when a lead clicked the page, bounce rates, and when they converted.

QuizPro includes this by default, but what if you want to view the data in a different platform? For this build in particular, because the client was already using Klaviyo as the hub for the project, they wanted to see all their information in one place - that includes tracking.

We were able to build custom Klaviyo metric events to feed user event data back to Klaviyo, so everything could be viewed from one central management console.
